Today, my guinea pig was resting on my shoulder. However, I forgot to tie my hair up and she gnawed off a clump of it that was a good 6 inches long. I had to fight her to get it out of her mouth. FML

Hey guys, OP here. Posted this before I made a username. I didn't actually place her on my shoulder, I was sitting on the couch letting her run around next to me and she decided to climb up my chest and onto my shoulder. Suddenly I heard this weird crunching sound next to my head and I picked her up and saw the clump of hair hanging out of her mouth! Then it was like playing tug-of-war with a dog. She would NOT let go. I didn't think I'd have to pull as hard as I did just to pull something out of a guinea pig's mouth lol! I didn't want her getting sick so I put her back in her cage and threw the hair in the garbage.

"I had to fight her to get it out of her mouth" Brazzers.

What do you plan on doing with the dismembered clump of hair?

Guinea pig* this is not a dog. Also, I believe we've already established the fact that it indeed, did eat her hair.

The first day I got mine he bit then peed on my mom. Best pet ever!

Try fighting a 75 pound young and very strong and fast golden retriever to get back an important homework assignment... Ginea pigs are the least of my worries

That sucks! I just got 2 rats, I can see something like that happening to me. :P

My rats love to sniff my hair and stick their noses in my ears haha but they do NOT like glasses. One of them bit my mum because she was wearing glasses!

My parakeets will nibble on my hair sometimes and try to pull my glasses off, it's so cute! But one of them likes to bite the wrinkles on my mom's face...

My kitten actually does that. She'll sneak behind me and latch onto my hair if I don't keep it pulled back. :/

Mine don't nibble my hair, but they do enjoy standing on my head and shoulders. Could just be that mine don't like the smell of my shampoo and avoid it though idk

Sad haha. Glad you threw the hair in the garbage instead of leaving it for a chew toy (:

This isn't a pity party kind of place, iconically. Sorry for your pet but go cry about it somewhere else.

ouch...Oddly enough I agree with you. Don't rain on our parade!

Hey, if you were from France, would I have to address you as Mademoiselle maddienoelle? SCR :)
