Vaginosis FTL. Douches are a bad thing--the wet kind as well as the Jersey Shore type. Avoid sex, don't wash with soap(fresh water only!) 100% cotton granny undies, and sleep commando. Then sit down and ask yourself how a male knows more about feminine health than you.

Yeast is a biproduct of an inbalance of normal bacterial. BV is a fluctuation in pH

Man in glass house should cast no stones. Get some education before running your mouth, wouldya? Normal vaginal micro flora consists primarily of lactobacillus bacteria and various candida (yeast) species, especially c. Albicans. Yeast is ubiquitous on the human body. Candidiasis is an overpopulation of yeast that has nothing to do with pH--except as a symptom caused by outcompeting lactobacillus. Less lactic acid produced from the metabolism of glycerine means higher ph. Bacterial Vaginosis is caused by an infection of Gardnerella Vaginalis bacteria. If you read the name "Bacterial Vaginosis" closely, you'll note how it talks about BACTERIA, not pH.
