Today, my husband and I agreed that he would name our first born and I would name our second. He's dead-set on naming our child "Raindropp" no matter whether it's a boy or girl. FML

This is actually a really adorable name...Just root for a girl, cause even though raindrop is an inanimate object, it sounds feminine...but really, kudos to your husband for thinking up such an original name!

Rainier is a good name. I understand it is actually a common name. I've known people (girls) called Rainier.

If he's going to pick a random word for a name, he should at least spell it correctly. It'll save the kid a lifetime of correcting people when they "misspell" his/her name.

Well, tell him that when it's your turn you're going to name your child Gypsy or Stardust. Maybe then he will rethink it. Or you can embrace the name Raindropp; it's unique. You could call her Rania for short. Work with what you're given. :D
