Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

i dont get the "i name one kid, you name the other" mentality. why dont you just work together to find a name you both like?

"Make-believe cartoon character"?! Whoa whoa whoa, you've gone too far, there. Besides, it's a totally cool name, you must admit.

I love Tales of Symphonia and I love that name. =D At least your child will have an interesting origin behind his name and not a boring, generic one.

Your son shall be the most awesomest kid on the playground. Long live Kratos! PS Change your last name to Aurion. It'd be that much more epic.

teach him to be a complete psycho, then he can tear the heads of his foes off.... but seriosly i wouldnt name my kid kratos

kratos means strength in greek your soon will be lucky to have a name like that PS game character's names are not just plucked out of someone's ass you know, they are extremely carefully considered

Oh god, you wouldn't happen to be Kissy and Victor would you?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cratos Kratos was part of the Greek Pantheon. his name literally means Strength. Lots of video games derive characters from ancient mythology. You shouldn't let that stop you from appreciating the history of the name.

you mean a totaly badass name, and besides its a name from ancient greek mythology not a made up 'cartoon' name.

First of all Kratos isnt a fictional person he was the actual Greek god of war ,or maybe you would know him by the Roman name Mars?
