Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

get your revenge, have another kid, and demand you get to name it. Then name it after an ex-boyfriend of yours, one your husband knew about. This works better if you have a daughter.

Compromise. My mother wanted to call me Atticus, after my father, but he refused saying that all the To Kill A Mockingbird references would drive me up the wall once I was old enough, as it did him. So now it's my middle name, and my friends tend to use more than my actual first name. I have my ordinary, overused first name and my really cool middle name. It's a win-win situation.

#502 I was just commenting to say something along those lines!!! You might want to call yourself lucky your husband isn't a Halo fan (or just a bigger GOW fan). I'm hoping to be able to get away with (legionary of the 13th) Titus Pullo. Actually I'm thinking Octavian or something celtic. I really wish my name was something like Gaea instead of Kayla (couldn't have at least been spelled Caila). Anyway, video games tend to take names and things from really cool sources (Dante and Virgil anyone?).
