Today, my husband of one week lost his wedding ring while we were preparing for a dinner party. After a thorough search and no luck, I started to cry. He told me to quit being a drama queen because we had guests. He then got drunk with his friends, puked on the patio, and called me a bitch. FML

People should save their tears for things that are significant, like death or disaster. A lost ring is not a disaster. From what you said, you didn't do anything to be called a bitch but crying was dramatic.

Maybe the ring was expensive and it meant a lot to her. It could have been passed down through generations?

Yeah, YDI for not seeing this coming.

I'm sensing a divorce in your not so distant future.

You mean like the girl who got bitched at for "making a scene" when someone made what she interpreted as an incredibly inappropriate comment? No, you lose. He was absolutely an ass. When you are drunk, you are responsible for your actions. While you might act like a child, you do not get to revert to the lack of responsibility of one. Be a good person, and you will have nothing to worry about. This guy failed.

I would have socked him in the face.

You'll be back at the singles bar next week! Cheers!

DIVORCE HIM!!!!!!! Basically the same thing happened to my mom, only she stayed with him (my dad) because he only acted like that "sometimes". She ended up being stuck with him because of two kids and the fact that he told her he could afford a much better divorce lawyer and would get full custody of the kids. I mean, I'm glad I exist, but my mother probably would have had a much better life if she had left my dad the first time he pulled that shit. Good luck, whatever you choose.
