I like how this FML was written by someone living in the US but published first on the French version of FML, to finally be translated into English and appear on FML. It kind of feels like it's the equivalent of going from NY to Boston passing by Paris.

it's translated from French, where it is called football. Which is also a valid English word and probably the more common name for it anyway. Why change it?
