Today, my kitten was playing with the drawstring on my pajama pants. He then jumped, clinging on to my crotch. I screamed in pain, which scared him and made him hold on tighter. My cat was literally hanging from my vagina with its claws for a good 30 seconds before I could pry him off. FML

@246: Your vet GOT PAID TO DECLAW THEM! Vets are just people, and believe me, they have drunk more of the Kool-Aid than you have. And why shouldn't we judge you? You did a stupid thing and admit to it. We can judge you all we want. If you don't want people to judge you, don't share. That's life. Declawing is a terrible thing to do to a cat. Don't do it any more. @227: It's not about being literal. It's about trying to raise the bar again. We've tolerated too much stupidity for too long. It's time to ask people to speak clearly, use good grammar, and generally stop destroying the English language. It's hard enough to communicate in a written medium without people making it worse. Just say what you actually mean in the first place and stop relying on people to "just know what you meant." YOU do the communicating and maybe you'll find people misunderstand you less. Go figure.
