I feel like the rest of the time you're going to be living in that apartment is going to be hell with a landlord like that.. Moving is probably the best option.. Or should I say 'move' *badum tssss* Get it? Get it? I just made a joke! No, but seriously, you should consider moving.
Calling BS on this one
Call a lawyer.
Looks like you went over the limit of zero.
I've had a landlord like this. He constantly said me and my mom were 'problems' ... why? 1. because the apartment has mice and we've had to constantly set traps. 2. because the plumbing didn't work, it was so bad at one point the bathtub filled with sewer water for a week before he called a plumber. 3. my mom (who just had surgery) started bleeding internally and had to be taken to the hospital. In the end he had us thrown out - keeping the court order notices from us, since he lived downstairs. his reason? - he was afriad he wouldn't be able to rent the apartment if my mom died there. I feel for you OP, i really do. and if anyone tries to say 'fight it' ... obviously you've never lived in an apartment. Because in the real world, you might try to fight it but in the process, you'll still get thrown out with nowhere to go; especially if you're like me who doesn't have family outside of my mom. -shadow
Something tells me this isn't a control issue OP so much as he has someone else he wants to rent it to. Probably better to be out from under him

I'd show him how much stuff you actually have and ask for his suggestion on how you could minimise this further.
What, not even a bed!? OP are you a cat?
