The brother played the OP poorly. Yeah, he might be up $30 for now, but it won't be that long before the OP gets his money back. A smart little brother would have continued the blackmail payments and not sold out OP in 15 minutes, ruining a possibility of future returns, and likely losing his initial investment as well as his startup capital.
