Today, I got a phone call from my mother asking me if I was okay. Confused, I asked her what she meant. She then told me that my boyfriend had broken up with me, and she just wanted to make sure I was handling it alright. I had to find out my relationship was over from my mom. FML

Today, I found out that my boyfriend of 3 years cheated on me. I was extremely devastated, and was crying in my room. My mom told me that it’s not a reason to cry. Apparently, “There’s people out there without anything to eat, nowhere to live, and people dying of cancer - that’s a REAL reason to cry.” FML

Today, I called my mother crying, telling her how my husband has apparently been cheating on me for months. To my surprise, she didn't interrupt me or cut me off the whole time. Only when she didn't respond, did I realize she'd hung up a half an hour ago. FML

that makes no sense at all...how would him being gay be worse? at least the OP could be pissed at her brother and in time that would go away. However as it was her bestfriend the relationship between the OP and her friend is forever destroyed (at least I hope). OP your boyfriend and bestfriend are ******* *****. I hope they go somewhere to **** and get hit by a bus. No but seriously **** them. I think some kind of revenge would be pretty sweet...does your friend have a bf? because if he was gay, that would be mean he was gay while dating her. or he could be bi, and she was not informed. also, how do we know if the best friend is a girl or not? we assume it's a girl, but you never know...
