Today, my mom is going with me for a general check-up at the doctor's office. She just told me she had a nightmare last night that she went to the doctor with me, and he told her I'm pregnant. I am pregnant. I was about to tell her. FML

Today, I sent my mom an email with "Bad news" as the subject. At the end of her reply, she said, "And don't scare me! I thought you were going to tell me you're pregnant!" I AM pregnant, and wanted to surprise her on her birthday. Guess I should get her something less disappointing. FML

whatchasay, the reason tey are bashing snickerdoodle is because she's acting like she better than other people, originally OP, and assuming things about OP that were never clarified. For example, she, with several others, assumed that OP is a dumb teenager, much like herself. The psycologist in me says she wishes something dramatic and attention getting could happen to her, so her parents would pay attention to her.

To the girl that's waiting ... I didn't, but whatever works for you more power to you .. I got preg at 16 and what the OP wrote was how I felt then. At 23 it was a little different and worse my best friend told my mom before my husband and I got a chance and at the time only a handfull of people knew we were married because we were having a large ceremony that week! I watched the MTV show teen mom and they don't have it easy!
