Today, my mom is going with me for a general check-up at the doctor's office. She just told me she had a nightmare last night that she went to the doctor with me, and he told her I'm pregnant. I am pregnant. I was about to tell her. FML

One more thing: If OP was out and on her own, why'd she go on a check-up right after her mom's dream, unless mom strongly insisted? (Ya know, honey, how about we two go check you up, I just had this dream). If my mom said that I'd laugh her off... So it's quite possible OP's mom has an authoritative position yet... OTOH, the check-up may have been prescheduled before the dream, so hmmm.... Also, are there teens who don't mind getting pregnant? o.O (

While studies do say that over 90% of people have premarital sex, that's not the point, because you're making a conscious decision to not have sex and I have the utmost respect for that! it's effing *ridiculous* that people are chastizing you and making personal attacks for it. My only warning is that if you do change your mind, make sure you know how to protect yourself from unintended pregnancy

being married doesn't mean your any more ready for a baby than if your not married, the OP might be a great mother for all you know. it's been proven that you are more likely to cheat and get a divorce of you wait until marrige for sex people used to wait until marrige because they were getting married at 16! bad luck OP, but just give the baby a good life :) your mum might not react as badly as you expect

because snickerdoodles hasnt had sex she doesnt know about a girls life? wtf kinda shit is that? & she can possibly be living on her own. im 18 and just moved from chicago to nyc & when i went to go visit chicago my mother and i went to the doctors(i still have insurance thru her). she said she had a dream i was preggo, but that was afterwards. you really cant judge somebody by what age they are. age doesnt say anything other than how long you have been out of your mothers womb.

Second the thing about age. There shouldn't be a drinking age or any age bullshit, it ties some people down who are mentally older than most people their age.
