Today, my mom needed coffee so I drove to Starbucks to get her some. She let me drive the Porsche, which has never happened. Upon coming home I picked the coffee up out of the cupholder so it wouldnt spill. My phone vibrated in my pocket, I spilled the coffee and crashed the car into the garage. FML

Today, I was at a Starbucks drive-thru and was grabbing a hot coffee when I got rear ended and my car hit the vehicle in front of me which deployed my airbag. Hot coffee can really burn when it hits your face at a high rate of speed. FML

Today, I had to be the designated driver for my mom and aunt. While driving them home, my aunt threw up on the car floor and my mom peed her pants, leaving a puddle in the seat. It was my car. FML

Today, I was drinking coffee out of my favorite mug, when it slipped out of my hand. I caught it, but not before most of the hot coffee spilled all over my lap. In reaction, I dropped the mug again, shattering it. FML

Today, I was running late for work and I was carrying my stuff to my car, handbag over my shoulder, laptop in one hand, and my coffee in the other. As I tried to unlock my car, I spilt the coffee all over myself, the car, and my laptop. Now, I’m sticky, wet, and my laptop won't turn on. FML

Today, I went to Starbucks to get my free birthday coffee and due to a mistake I received two. Thinking it was my lucky day, I hurried off to work. As I was walking in, I tripped and spilt one coffee all over my new dress. Then I walked into a door and spilt the other. FML

YDI..it doesn't matter what car it is, if you flip out so much over a phone vibrate then you shouldn't be behind any motorized vehicle at all.

you prolly shouldnta done that. christ man, now you'll be paying attention from now on! lol I dont know what else would get you to pay attention, but if it takes more than that then thats scary. hopefully you wont be driving in my streets. im kidding, pay attention dude. Try to crash less expensive cars from now on, its more fun to learn how to drive like that. You know less hell to pay.

#16: You're incorrect; males have more accidents caused by excessive speed, drink, and driving beyond their experience level. Females have more "silly" little accidents like this, caused by stupid mistakes, usually caused by exactly the kind of distraction and/or panic moments that the OP describes. The reason why males pay more for their insurance is that their kind of accidents more often end up in major (expensive) wrecks, whilst women's accidents more often end up with a dented fender or a broken headlight.
