Today, my mom told me that I am going to end up getting myself pregnant. I am 21 and a virgin. She continued to yell at me and call me a liar all night. I don't know which is worse, being a 21 year old virgin or my mother accusing me of lying about it. FML

Being a virgin at 21 is not a handicap. If, when, where, and how are all an individual's choice, and part of owning your sexuality. If you feel you want to share your precious gift one day, I hope you will be able to do that with dignity. You will always remember your 1st.

I know how you feel. Recently I was arguing with my step-mom's sister because she didn't believe me when I told her I was a virgin (I'm 19). It's annoying that we live in a society where being over 15 and still a virgin is unheard of, and then we have to be pegged as liars by our own families because of it, but your mom is your family and she loves you, so this will blow over. It's not like it will be a life-long battle.

Tell your mother that being a ***** isn't genetic, so you're not worried about her influence all that much. As for your virginity, I was within weeks of twenty-one my first time. Couple of earlier opportunities that I passed on, and I'm glad I did. If it's your choice, there's not a thing wrong with it. You should be proud, not stewing over what your bitch mother (who obviously needs some kind of professional help) has to say. If it's NOT your choice; well, lets face it. Pretty much anyone can get laid these days if they want to. Just look at all the stories on fml about lying douchebags and evil bitches who always seem to have great sex lives. The only thing really stopping you is... you.
