I got a trombone
Don't let her do it!! She won't even get much money for an used instrument anyway, it's such a waste!! Don't let her do it!
a lot of instruments actually increase in value over time, if they have been taken care of.
That's a shame. A trombonist myself, I hope you can convince her to return your instrument.
Even if she bought it for you, your mom should not sell something that's yours. When she gave it to you, it became yours. And even if your trombone is worth a couple thousand, that isn't that much money in the long run. It'll be here and gone before you know it, it's not going to last. Because of this fact, selling your possessions is a stupid way to scrounge up money unless its stuff you no longer use or need. It only delays the inevitable, its a poor solution. In one month, now you'll be both poor AND trombone-less. Ha, you know what you could do? Stand on the side of the street and play your trombone for tips. XD

well find something else you're good at. apparently you are good at blowing on things..that's a start
You people are so ignorant. Just because you're good at a musical instrument doesn't mean you have a failed social life. Many of the musicians at my school are actually quite popular. People these days....
