I would die if my mom did that with my trumpet!! I love playing trumpet I couldn't live without band! I have a solution to your problem though. a) buy the trombone from your mom when she puts it up for sale b) Tell your band director he could definitely help you maybe even set up parent teacher conference with him c) My school will rent out instruments dirt cheap, so see if your band program does the same as your band director will feel sorry for you if they have a school trombone he will probably let use it until you save up enough to by one yourself. d) if your mom doesnt already have it you can keep it at school or hide where she can't find it until she gives up on the whole thing I really feel for you OP and I hope your mom reconsiders
