You people are so ignorant. Just because you're good at a musical instrument doesn't mean you have a failed social life. Many of the musicians at my school are actually quite popular. People these days....

exactly, most musicians at my school are very popular. a world with out music would be so depressing. don't hate cuz your no talent ass can't play an instrument.

OP, if she has already taken away the other things you cherish, it sounds like every time you get in trouble you lose something. This is like a small kid having their fav toy taken away when they act bad. What I'm trying to say is this: if she has already taken the other things this was her last straw. If you want to keep it you're going to have to abide by her rules and stop fighting with her. As long as you disobey your mother, you will not win.

Oh my god I feel for you. I would completely die if my mom sold my trombone I love music and without my trombone I would just....ohmygosh I can't even imagine it!
