Today, my mother, my aunt, and my two sisters are all on their periods. I can't even brush my teeth in my own house without being treated like a criminal. FML

Well, how do you think they feel? Every girl is entitled to get irritated at the world during her period. It hurts, it's messy, not to mention your an emotional wreck. Just try not to bug any of them, OP, and it'll be over soon.

This is retarded. PMS is largely psychological. The attitude associated with it, I mean. I've never, and I mean never, been a bitch while on my period unless something legitimately pissed me off like it would any other day. It's just a matter of if you want to control yourself, or think you're entitled to ruining everyone else's day because 'you're special.' Girls, you're not puppets, you can control yourselves god damn it.

PMS gets worse as you age. When I was in high school I never had PMS symptoms/bitchy moments but as I've aged it's progressively gotten worse. It comes to a point when you can't control the depressed/angry feelings. Many girls *do* take advantage of PMS to be bitches but there are times when the hormones cannot be "controlled."

I think wat #2 meant was that PMS is sumn coined by pharmaceutical companies to make u take meds. There isn't pre or post mestrual pain, just menstrual pain. But these women aren't PMS'ing, they're MS'ing.

Truth. I get irritable a few days before, so I try to stay away from people as much as I can. I also get really weepy before and during my period. Everything will make me cry. So my boyfriend will suggest chicken for lunch, I'll snap at him because "I'm so damn sick of chicken," and then I'll start crying for yelling at him. :(
