Today, my mother screamed at my boyfriend, calling him an "evil piece of self-centred trash". He's a sweet guy who does volunteer work for kids with learning difficulties. She's a bitter, passive-aggressive telemarketer who constantly harasses her own family with sales calls. FML

Evil piece of self centered trash could be her of saying I love you. Or maybe, jut maybe, she didn't mean it in a nice way, and it's her way of saying evil piece of self centered trash.

This Fml doesn't make much sense. First, her screaming that stuff does not really sound passive aggressive at all. And second, telemarketers don't actually get to chose who they call. They don't even see the numbers, it's all through a dialing machine. So unless she keeps calling on her free time with her own phone...

Gotta call bullshit on that choice claim. I used to work in telemarketing (yeah, I'm not proud of it) and the company I worked for was so cut-throat they "encouraged" us to get customers by calling our own friends, family, acquaintances... I'm not even sure if it was legal, but it happens more than you think. :/

I've done some telemarketing too unfortunately and we never got to choose or see who we were calling. worked on a few sales programs too but guess it just depends we're your at. That's pretty dirty though

If that's the case with OP's mom, that makes sense and explains the aggression. Then again, my mom's a raging bitch all the time and has barely worked a day of her life. Either way, OP's mom is way outta line.
