Actually, she’s stupid. I dated a guy in high school whose mom didn’t like me because of my ethnicity. (get this, it was a WWII issue because she was really old; this was in the 80’s and had him when she was in her 40’s). Anyway, we eventually broke up, but not until she’d ruined her relationship with him. I’m now the mom of three adult children, and believe me, they dated people I could not stand. But I had enough faith in them to believe that they’d figure it out eventually, and they always did. Because I never gave them a hard time, I was the one they came to when those relationships ended, and we’re all still close. Your boyfriend’s mom will either learn her lesson or she’ll end up sad and lonely and wondering why her son doesn’t like her.
Please reconsider this relationship. She is very unlikely to change this behavior, no matter how long you two stay together. I speak from experience.
