FIRST BITCH FIRST
Why is it that parents think it's so damn funny to trick their kids into thinking they bought them a large gift when they actually bought them something small? Doesn't sound like anything but a good way to get your kid to resent the hell out of you, if you ask me. And no, I'm not saying kids ought to expect any large gifts from their parents, but I still think it's entirely unnecessary to trick your child into thinking they're getting something they're not.
Huh? What's wrong with parents having a sense of humour? I agree they shouldn't do it with little kids, but the OP is surely old enough to appreciate a joke, isn't she? That's totally something my parents would do, and I love them for it! I think it's great that my parents will play jokes on me - I've put them through enough shit my whole life, they're allowed to pay me back in kind :P
Well, people shouldn't be greedy. I would just say thanks for someone takeing there time to buy me something, no matter what it is.
That's mean. And not all that funny, at least not for you.
#10, people like you annoy me.
LOL she didn't lie. It won't kill you to do dishes by hand. If you want a dishwasher so bad get off your butt and buy one.
#22, maybe you didn't see the part where she said she'd pay her mom back. Obviously, she doesn't have the money to buy a dishwasher at the moment.
