People are just threatened by bisexual people because they think everyone has to be either one way or the other. Even gay and lesbians are threatened by bisexuals. Don't fret, your mom might just be in denial and a little ignorant.
Your mother should not have said that no men will have you. Still, though, I agree with her in that I've never really understood the concept of being bisexual. People usually decide to be bi because they can't find anyone they really like out of the entire opposite-sex half of the population...but once they've decided to expand their choices to the other half of the population as well, they now are not picky about which gender they date, and the idea of being selective goes out the window...if you see what I'm saying.
yeah, and she either went back into the closet because she couldn't take the hardship and prejudice gay people have to face, or she was just experimenting in the first place, and was not a true lesbian. People can decide who they sleep with, but they can't decide who they're attracted to, or who they fall in love with. People ARE born "that way". Think of all the people that have been killed over the centuries for being gay, or ostracized, assaulted...yes, I'm sure they must have just been bored with heterosexuality and decided being taunted, attacked and/or murdered was so much more fun that they stuck with it until the very end!
No one in their right mind would consciously choose to be treated badly. It is part of human nature to be a part of something to have a sense of belonging. And many people with in the GLBTQ community don't feel this sense of belonging outside of our little community.
my view is that you start out straight. then you become homosexual when you can't get someone. then, when no homosexual wants you, you become bi. definition of bi - EXTREMELY desperate
You're a homophobic idiot. And probably deathly desperate.
18,I'm too afraid to come out to my friends because I'm sure that they'll be just like yours I too need new friends
I'd have to correct you, not all bisexuals are open to threesomes. Many are monogamous. It depends on the person.
I'm an annoying ****.
