omg I have the exact same kind of an evil older brother who used to call me ugly and told me that I'll never find a girlfriend, and if I ever did, he would steal her from me :( unfortunately he looks all rad and persuasive .. sort of a womaniser in a nutshell.. he also competes with me and has to argue on every single thing ! if I write a poem , he will make it his own, if I find something interesting, he came up with that ;( I don't think there's a permanent solution to this. you can try to avoid him, or just dont speak with him.

Damn, I'd be pissed, strings are expensive (unless they're Red Label..) hope he paid for you to get new strings!! Also, it sounds like he has anger management problems, maybe some therapy would be good for him.
