Today, I took my 15-year-old daughter to our local shooting range for her birthday, as she requested. While she was setting up a target in front of me, I jokingly pulled the trigger and shouted, "Think Fast!" not realizing that the safety was off. I shot my daughter in the arm on her birthday. FML

61 yeah it can happen anywhere but do you have any idea how frequently it happens in America? The US's gun laws are a problem on their own, and on top of that irresponsible gun owners make things worse. Like why the **** was the safety off with kids around? From the outside looking in it would be laughable if it weren't so tragic. Like it or not, the United States has a gun problem comparable to developing/third world country; a problem which is starting to affect other countries too. A Canadian student was killed in Rogers' rampage, not to mention the other Canadians fallen victim to other American shootings.
