48 that's really judgemental. Accidents can happen to the brightest of people, and as a large proportion of pregnancies are unplanned it obviously happens to older women too. So teenage mums that face up to their responsibilities (and can have a pretty damn fulfilling life thanks very much!) are now to be looked down on? Being a teenaged mum isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I'm really starting to get sick of the stereotyping and name calling that seems to go with that label. Sure, having a baby at 14 isn't the best idea, but are you really that much more mature at 20 then you were at 17, 18, or 19? Why is there some magic line that makes it ok/stupid?

I doubt your a ugly nerd, your parents shouldn't say that, glasses, zits, whatever that made them feel the need to say it doesnt make you one. What makes a person one is being a bitch bout knowing more than others. plus you not doing bad stuff is great! it means your smart or careful enough to not go off and have sex with a million guys, or get HIV at a F rank tattoo paralor. you could still get pregnant, not that I advise that. sure they may feel the need to say something to get you to pop those zits stop playing videogames what ever but they don't have any reason to put it that way.
