Meh¡ it's not even that bad, exercise. and for walking in the winter, I live in Canada, lovely place, cold, snow, wind, it's all good. That's ripped jeans and hoodie weather in -30•C or lower. Throw on some gloves and a took if you must but don't cry about it being winter.
£60 for a bus pass, OWCH! You can go twice as far in Swindon for £31 a month, are you sure you have your prices right?
Walker, why don't you suggest to your parents that your dad stumps up £30 and your mum then stumps up the other £30. That way, you will have the £60 you need for your bus pass.
Pay for it yourself, be grateful my bus pass costs almost £500 for a year!!
I love the pissing contests about temperature and the conversion from euro's to pounds to dollars or what not. Why is it always so serious? If it's not grammar mistakes it's probably something else...like, hey you're American and that makes you dumb. ha ha...I love it. You're like political analysts!
and also the bus is free for people living in london if you apply for a oyster card if your under 18 and its only £2 for a travel card im sure somebody could spare that until they get it sorted out
I used to get the bus to work every morning and that's about £40 a week from where I live (the middle of nowhere). It was about 15 miles, and I didn't qualify for a bus pass :/ And it's the same for school as well. My school was 12 miles away and my parents wouldn't get a bus pass for me or my brother. So we had to pay a load for our own bus fare. Just cause that's what the prices are in London doesn't mean it's the same everywhere else
Get a job, buy it yourself, and stop whining.
I thought you across the pond folk measured in kilometers instead of miles.
1. Get a job 2. Buy a bus pass 3. Monkeys
Also, Europe is not a country. *facepalm*

wow your parents suck..poor you! :( and that sucks that you have to walk 18 miles everyday...in cold weather :( FYL
1) It's snowing some places, so "winter weather" is not an unreasonable thing to say. 2) £60 is over 100 USD. Not necessarily that easy to come by, especially if... 3) OP may be a young kid with limited options. 4) Your parents totally suck. You could buy a pretty cheap bike and ride to school. And if you don't have the money, shovel snow (if there's snow) or do some silly jobs until you can afford a cheap solution.
