Hey OP! If you've already spoken to your Doctor about all this and they say it's normal and fine, then awesome! Otherwise I urge you to speak to someone and FAST. One of my earliest and strongest memories from childhood is the heavy, long (weeks) and impossible blood-flows my mother was getting. It was weeks long, and then a few days break, and weeks long again. It turns out she had cancer and although she'd been cancer free for over ten years now it was NOT something she should have ignored for the months she did because she figured it would just work itself out. (And this is a woman who has spent the past 30 years working in phlebotomy [aka works with BLOOD] who was ignoring her bleeding.) If this type of thing is normal for you though, and you have spoken to your Doctor about what it could be and all that, then no worries! I know such bleeding can be typical for many women so don't stress over it too much if you know everything is fine. (Don't stress even if you don't know! Just make sure to talk to your Doctor about it and find out what it could be.) Stay safe, and hopefully this time you won't bleed for more than a few days!
Yeah I agree with the previous comment. Plus a period shouldn't last 17 days!!! More like 3-7 days. Sounds like you could have some kind of internal infection...??
Must have been bloody terrible.
Doctor.
I had the same exact thing happen to me for 10 months. Please get some bc pills. It will help, I promise!!!
I know your pain, I had a 14 day one followed 7 days later to the day by another 15 day period...Been messed up since then to the point that I didn't get it at all this month after having gotten it at most every two weeks since May.
Check with your doctor whether or not you have Endometriosis.
you might be pregnant and just spoting or something else any you should probably go to the doctor.
