I think this is possible. My yearbook put in spring sports/events in the NEXT years' yearbook. Prom/girl's soccer/track/graduation/baseball are all from the previous year (09 would have pictures from the 08 season). Also, one year they put the same kid's picture twice on the SAME page, with two different names...and he didn't look anything the other person, since the other person was a girl. So, not every school has the same editors, nor the same layout or way of producing spring pictures.
There's also the possibility that he is talking about a university or college yearbook, because I've noticed my university has signs posted saying that the 09 yearsbooks are currently for sale and have been for a few weeks. Even if the OP is in high school, some schools get out in April/May and return in August, so unless you know how every single school in the entire world works, you can't say it couldn't happen. Furthermore, mistakes happen. It slips by. Maybe the yearbook staff thought it was funny and purposely didn't mention it to their advisor, or maybe it was a picture taken at the last minute and no one scrutinized it that closely.
why is everyone fighting about this?even if he's a liar, just imagining that this happened is funny oh and to #69 (sorry you got that number O.o) for your number 3 thing, my last yearbook only had pics of like 10 people on the cover...so don't assume (remember, if you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of yoU and ME...that's how i learned to spell assume xD)
lol. I was also a yearbook editor, but I believe this could happen. Believe it or not, editors don't really do boner checks before they send pages for proofs/print.
surely you would have known that you had a massive boner when the picture was being taken and done something about it, like hide at the time??
this happened to a dude in my highschool, opening night he ended up with the biggest boner. everyone was 100% more satisfied with the performance, i can tell you that. i was still a virgin then but i went just to see that boner. your life is not so ******. it's like a girl bitching about her yearbook picture being one with visible nipples..whatever! so people know you have a sex drive. in high school it doesn't hurt

Well if a girl ever says you can't keep it up, pull out the book, point and comment that, "that boner is still rocking out."
That's unfortunate. Unless you're really big.
