Today, I'm a superintendent at a school, and it snowed today after school. The snow ended up freezing on the road, so I called school off for tomorrow. I sent calls home, cancelled all school events, and then realized that it's Friday. FML

Today, it was snowing really badly, so my boss said that everyone who drove to work could leave. But because I got the bus in, she said that I should stay and do a full day. By the time she eventually decided it was bad enough for me to leave, the buses were cancelled. FML

Today, is the blizzard. I have to go into work, my boss threatened to fire me if I didn't show up. I sent him a picture of the snow completely covering my car. He said I moved the snow there and could move it back. FML

Today, we had our second snow day in a row, something that never happens. So while the rest of school got to sleep late, I had to wake up early, get dressed, and go to my bus stop because my mom didn't believe me. FML

I was thinking the same thing #57. When I went to school, all the trips were to planetariums,zoo,museums,etc. Maybe OP goes to a expensive private school? Anyway it still sucks U couldn't go on the trip OP.

My public high school has has a ski / snowboard club for the past 10 years. Many public schools in my area have them.

My high school used to have a club for it, and we're not in a snowy area. The students all paid for most of it, each club got a little bit of funding but not a lot. My college had it too. You paid for your food and they got a special deal on passes since they were getting them in bulk.

Has your school district never heard of chains? When I was young we lived in the mountains in NV. Usually 12' of snow a year, and there was so such thing as a snow day, with a 30mi ride on the bus.
