Today, I'm a superintendent at a school, and it snowed today after school. The snow ended up freezing on the road, so I called school off for tomorrow. I sent calls home, cancelled all school events, and then realized that it's Friday. FML

Today, it was snowing really badly, so my boss said that everyone who drove to work could leave. But because I got the bus in, she said that I should stay and do a full day. By the time she eventually decided it was bad enough for me to leave, the buses were cancelled. FML

Today, is the blizzard. I have to go into work, my boss threatened to fire me if I didn't show up. I sent him a picture of the snow completely covering my car. He said I moved the snow there and could move it back. FML

Today, we had our second snow day in a row, something that never happens. So while the rest of school got to sleep late, I had to wake up early, get dressed, and go to my bus stop because my mom didn't believe me. FML

Well the skiing Itself wouldn't be the problem, it would be safely gettin like 500 kids too and fro. They don't want lawsuits up their asses. My school has a snow day if we get like 3 inches...

Lucky. My superintendent doesn't "believe" in snowdays. There's a road that a big part of the people in my school have to go on to get to school, and that road has a hill on it. Literally half the school was late one day because there was so much snow on the hill that cars couldn't climb it.

if it's like when my school.went skiing and had to drive from the north east of England to the south to get the ferry to.France to drive to wherever in Europe the ski resort they went to was then I can understand why they won't take you

When I went on a skiing trip we couldn't go skiing for one of the days due to the snow. The coach couldnt even get onto the road with chains on the wheels and people clearing the driveway. I'm glad we didn't go that day, watching an empty coach struggle is better than being in a full coach that is struggling more. If you haven't gone on the trip yet then it's a piss take, and I hope you get your money back. But if you're already on the trip, they're only worried about your safety.
