Today, my school's ski trip got canceled, because "All the snow makes the roads unsafe." We can't go skiing because it's snowing. FML

I was lucky our ski trip wasn't canceled. Sorry op. if its a non college school, I can see how they would be anal about liability if the bus crashed. Go up with your friends next time =)

I think it's funny that they cancel the skiing trip because of snow, but it's far less likely for them to cancel school because of snow.

You don't live in Oregon by chance, do you..they close the schools when there's only 2" of snow because "the roads are too slick for the buses & the drivers don't know how to drive in it safely"...now is that stupid or what?
