Today, my second roommate in less then a week got a DUI. Both roommates are demanding that I drive them around for free until they get their licenses back, or else they won't have the funds to pay their rent. FML

Today, my roommate wants to kick me out because I can't afford to pay my share of the rent this month. I couldn't afford to, because I had to pay for repairs to my car after my roommate got drunk, stole my keys, and crashed it into a street light. FML

Today, I let my dad borrow my car. I found out a few hours later that he has had a suspended license for three years. How did I find out? He got pulled over and arrested. My car was also impounded. I'm a college student barely making it as it is. Guess who can't afford the impound fees? FML

Today, I decided to be the sober housemate for the first time in a while. I drove my drunk friends to the bar and back, even buying them pizza before they passed out in the living room. I got repaid by catching my wasted housemate in my room, peeing all over my floor, bed, and nightstand. FML

Today, my boyfriend went to jail for a DUI. In a panic, I rushed to go bail him out. On the way to the jail I was stopped for running a red light. I soon joined my boyfriend in jail with my very own DUI charge. FML

I would tell them that they can walk wherever they have to go. This will be a lesson for getting a dui. I would also tell them that if they don't come up with their share of the rent then they'll be homeless as well.

definitely charge for gas. and they need to realize in the three months (at least in Vegas) their licenses are suspended, that's wear and tear on your vehicle. my room mate got a DUI and wrecked his brothers car in the process, and he still helped out with gas. so either they cough it up or start walking.

simple put what they would have put in their car for petrol into urs.. if not sell their shit for rent money.. I think they'd change their attitude quickly.
