I think u are all wrong. It doesn't say if there they r close or not.doesnt even say they were talking. doesn't even say her sister knew before her. just says her sister was comparing her handling the news.so her parents told her the news and the sister then went up to her and made that comparison. maybe her sister was in room or maybe not at the time op was being told the news.
Hopefully her reaction was based on awkwardness in dealing with it and not animosity :/ If it wasn't and she really thinks that, she's being terrible and I'd say ignore her you have enough going on without added insults. Good luck and hope you get through it
"Possibly fatal". Everything is possibly fatal, lol. You probably were being dramatic.
Yes its true anything is possibly fatal but life is possibly fatal. Considering OP is probably young you definitely don't want to hear that you have a disease that can take a considerable amount of years off of your life.
Stay strong, I hope you get well very soon.
OP I have behcets, fibromylagia, endo and that's hard enough. My father thought I was making up feeling so ill despite the numerous long hospital stays and the fact I was nearly dead. I feel for you hun, I hope that in time she will educate herself and understand. If not, please know that you aren't alone and that there are good people out here who care. XxX
She obviously isnt a good sister if she thinks your life-threatening illness isnt something to be taken seriously. I'm sorry OP.
Well shit, grow up. Jk op, im sorry to hear :(

My brother has ALPS (autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome). It's super rare and has a high fatality rate but as he got older, his body fought it off. Now he's healthy as a horse. Don't give up!
That's not easy to hear, especially from someone close. I hope you are going to be ok, OP and that you receive some better support.
