I'd freak on my dad. That's pretty messed up especially since it was your money that you earned and you had saved yourself.

Depending on when you start school and where you're going, you could figure something out. Find out how you need for a year of school and how much for all of school. You could probably delay your acceptance for a year to save up. It'll suck, but it's do able.
