Today, my sister told me about a website that explained why our stressed cat has been obsessively pulling out the fur on her legs. Interested, I asked for a link. Not just out of deep concern for the cat, but because I have the same problem. FML

There's also this strange condition called "trichotillomania" where people compulsively pick at their hair. Brought on by a variety of factors.

I understand wanting your legs to feel silky smooth, but you may want to talk to someone, OP. Stress manifests in all sorts of odd ways sometimes, it may make you feel better to chat.

The internet is the most sure way to get a diagnosis that you are dying of the worst disease in the world when in fact you just have the common cold. Never trust the internet.

Tricotillomania isn't a disease if that is what you are referencing. But it isn't terrible to look for ideas online as long as you can take them with a pretty big grain of salt.

My cat did the same thing.. That is, until he ripped his own ass off and died shortly after. Good luck OP;(

Trichotillomania, not a pleasant form of OCD, not a lot a doctor can do for you, you've really just gotta try preoccupy yourself to stop it happening.

Damn op, those hairballs must be murder!

The fur on your legs or the cats' legs?

why is the cat pulling on your sister's hairy legs? And what makes you do it too?

You're pulling hair on your pussy...
