Why are you buying it when Santa and his elves will make it and deliver it? That's probably not 100% true...still he'll write another letter and then you can return and buy from that list

Kids change their mind. No need to be so harsh. OP has two weeks to exchange the gifts or get a refund. Yes, it sucks that she went to all that effort and was being an amazing mum, but punishing the kid doesn't seem logical to me...
