It's your own fault for texting in class. Seriously. You people need to realise that there is a time and a place for certain things. You can always text before school, after school, during breaks, during lunch, and during the weekends. It's not that hard.

First, you're an idiot for texting in class. Second, you're an idiot for "sexting" in class. Third, you're an idiot for getting caught "sexting" in class. The teacher had every right to take her/his (I don't judge, much) phone away during his class. Why, because it's his class and she isn't following his/the school's rules. Was it wrong for him to read the texts, yes, but if your dumb enough to get caught doing it, maybe it will teach you something. Oh and #31, let's say that you went to your job and wearing a shirt that says "Every bi*ch should suck on my di*k" and spent your time there watching ****. As an "adult", one can wear whatever shirt they want and watch whatever videos they want but that doesn't mean the boss won't fire you.

That's illegal for them to actually look through your phone or read your messages. You should have sued.

I find it sad that people are so addicted to texting they can't just wait until they're out of class to do it.

Did you get your phone back? That is your personal property, and I think it would be illegal for him to keep it from you permanently. That's horrible. Maybe you shouldn't be texting in class, but he has no right to read your texts.

@#53 Really? Do you really, REALLY want to say that it is illegal, (Punishable by law) for a teacher to look through a student's phone? Let's think this one over here. Even if it illegal for him to look at her texts, do you think he will get charged with ANYTHING since the text he read had a picture of a penis in it? Kids have went to jail and put on a sexual predator list for sending and receiving naked pictures. If anything, she'll get charged. (Though I think it's wrong to charge her, even if she is stupid.)
