Today, my teenage daughter tried to convince me that the UK is a part of Canada. After I pulled out a map to prove her wrong, she got all angry and defensive, and said that nobody's perfect at "geometry". My daughter is an idiot. FML

Don't feel bad.. My son's father has a few gems like when I was in labor, he kept asking, "are you having any more CONTRACTS?" And when someone expresses their pleasure at having met him he replies, "yea, clockwise"..

If you don't want to raise a dumbass how about being more invested in her education..hm? YDI, OP

some parent you are imagine how she would feel if she read this instead of cutting her down fix it and teacher her like a real parent should if anyone's the idiot you are for calling your kid an idiot and posting it here best parent award at should go to you

Shouldn't you have made sure she knows where the UK is by this point?! You are the parent. Don't call her an idiot until you can call yourself one!

I refuse to believe this because I don't want to face this sort of reality. (Don't contradict me.) Note: Stop blaming the parents. It's not always the parents fault for everything the kid does. Children can think for themselves, and by that age they know exactly what the hell they're doing. Doesn't matter how invested in their kid's education a parent is, if they don't want to learn then they won't. Now quit it, please.

You did raise her, so does that make you any smarter?

I feel your pain. I once had a girl ask me if England is a state. smh
