Just so you know, everything has worked out fine. The mailman was pretty nice about it. He had to wash off the back of the truck, and pay a little money to help fix it.

Go big or go home. Starting off his criminal career with a federal crime.
Why does your 12 year old have a paint gun is he's not playing in a designated area?
'Murica.
He's 12, so at the time or was a good idea and a fun way to pass time. As the parent you should have lectured him on the responsible way to utilize a paintball gun, before giving it to him.
I was 11 when I got my first paintball gun, it was my parents choice because of how often I went, and the price of renting one. I was extremely responsible with it, never took it out unless I was going paint balling and they never had a single problem. OPS kid is just a dumbass.
The biggest national debt per resident in the world. That's not the richest, but poorest country in the world..

Shouldn't his parent discipline him? Oh wait........ YOU'RE the parent!
If your son hasn't already been informed, maybe now would be a good time to let him know... On August 2, 1968, assault on a mail carrier became a federal crime in the United States. I hope your mailman has a sense of humor or your son could be in big trouble. We were all stupid kids once. Use this opportunity to help scare him smart! Good luck!!!
