I would have clapped laughed and bought the girl a sandwich myself :'D
Guys, let's face it here. If the genders were switched on the teen and the kid, there would be no argument in the comments.
My mom would have made us leave no matter what age we were. If we didn't listen the first time, we would have been out the door.
Sheesh, nobody is the good guy in this scenario.
Let me re-write this the way it SHOULD have gone. : Today, my young son and I were in line at Subway. I guess he got bored and started to insult the teenage girl behind us. I tried to get him to stop, but he wouldn't listen. I immediately removed him from the store and after a half hour long lecture on how we treat other people we went home and had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Damn I really wanted Subway but sometimes parenting is more important. FML
You should have left the store once it started to happen.
Learn to control your kid. He had it coming.
