Today, my younger cousin bought his girlfriend of 3 months a bunch of flowers. The only flower I've ever got from my boyfriend of 3 years is a plastic one he found on the floor in a bar. FML

I think boys have a hard time understanding why flowers (short lived and expensive) appeal to women. It's the sincerity! It's the thought that counts! FYL

While I agree giving you a plastic flower he found on the floor is pretty low, if he's anything like me (ehich I doubt) he might not understand the point of giving a flower. Being in an economy like this, I don't understand spending money on something that will be short lived. My girlfriend and I usually give each other things each other needs. It shows we understand each other.

I know how that is, I dated a guy for right around 3 years, only flower he ever gave me was one of the fake ones with the spike on it you put on peoples graves. He stole it when he and his friends were goofing off in a cemetery. Sometimes you are lucky enough to be given very clear signs that the person you're with isn't worth your time.

If you really think flowers mean love and he isn't getting you any after three years dump him cuz he's not gonna start now. If he's got other qualities you like then don't complain about no flowers.
