Today, on my second day as a lifeguard, I locked myself out of the pool. My angry guests and I had to wait for 45 minutes for my manager to arrive and unlock the gate. FML

This time the lifeguard needed saving...if you don't have a key or you lost it keep a file from a lock kit...that will probably save you

You should have played it cool and given them a "planned" safety brief until the key showed up. Oh, and carry your own key from now on...
