Your boyfriend is sweet but next time both of you need to tell the friend to shove it. It is VERY rude to comment a lady's décolletage; no matter it's size.

Obviously he was trying to defend you. He could have simply said "Yes, they're small." but that would have offended you most likely. He also could have said "I don't like big boobs." and it would have been win win, but on the spot he did a good decision by defending you. It's funny to see some people think he was being an asshole and trying to make himself seem cool, which obviously was not the case.

At least he defended you. Maybe you should go and get fitted? Most women are wearing the wrong size bra to begin with, go and get fitted and they could look better. But it sounds like to me that you don't need to. He loves YOU not your boobs, and when a man defends you in front of his friends? He's a real keeper.
