He should have been telling his friend off for mentioning your boobs, not defending their size.
Are you a troll? First of all, studies have shown that the average man (in this society) prefers a b/c-cup. Secondly, "better" is not a synonym for 'bigger'. Thirdly, who says that OP wants to have what "most men" consider to be 'ideal boobs'?
itty bitty titty committee, boop boop!
I feel you sister.....Anything more than a handful is a waste anyway.
Why was your boyfriend's friend commenting on your boobs? I'd never disrespect any of my friend's partners by saying anything like that.
Absolutely, because the best reason to get body altering surgery is because 'most men prefer'... Hello, the 50's called, they want their misogynistic ideals back...
The most beautiful woman I know has an A-cup. The most energetic, fun-loving, happy woman I know doesn't even have that. So what? Boob size really doesn't matter unless you try really hard to make it matter.
I've always wanted smaller boobs, and I'm only a B cup....I suppose the grass is always greener, etc, etc, but seriously, your boyfriend sounds like a prick, seems to me like he was defending his ego more than he was defending the size of your ****.
I agree. OP, your boyfriend knows the size of your breasts by now, so this more than likely was indeed defending how he feels you as a choice for his girlfriend reflects on him. His response should have been something along the lines of, "And who the hell do you think you are? What business of yours is the size of her breasts and how dare you make such an insulting comment right in front of her?" and then either took you and left or sent him on his way, whichever was more appropriate for the current situation. I hate to be cliche, I mean REALLY, but it's true. If someone really loves you, than what they consider ideal breasts would just be a bonus.
Darn, wanted to add another point but ran out of time to edit. There IS a possibility as well that he simply wasn't too good at thinking in the moment and picked the wrong reply in the heat of things, and thus isn't a TOTAL scumbag, but the point is he should have defended you rather than try to make his "friend" believe that your breasts are bigger than they are.
I'm hoping you were joking but this seems like the most relevant place to put this comment. Cup size is completely relative to your band size. For instance, I am a 32C, but my boobs are only about a handful. There are things called sister bras which have the same size cup on a different sized band. 32C is the exact same cup size as a 34B or a 36A. So if you chopped my boobs off and put them on a person with a bigger circumference than my chest, they would have a smaller cup size because it is relative to their body. So, the point here is you can't really say you only like D or bigger, because it depends on how big around the girl is.
Hate to break it to you, but most people don't even know what a D cup looks like. I'm 34D and my friend is 34D but we have completely different body shapes. Even though we have the same band and cup size, our other features make them look different. I have a small waist and big hips so my boobs can either look big or average, depending on whether my outfit draws attention to my waist or hips. My friend has a perfect model frame, so her boobs will pretty much always look generous (as well as her butt, but I'll save my jealousy about that for a butt FML!). Compared to her, I look like a cup size smaller, but I know we're the same because we got measured at the same time. As 67 said, cup size also looks different depending on band size. Also, I think I'd prefer smaller boobs. They age better and they're easier to dress, so don't worry OP!

At least he defended and he's clearly with you because of the size of your heart or personality and not the size of your tatty bojangles.
So? Small boobs can also be good boobs.
