I did get it resolved as we have a police officer in the parking lot before and after school. He vouched for me as he saw the guy doing the burnouts through his windshield. Thanks for the comments!

My question is why didn't the officer pull him over? Or is tax payers money going to police to just sit in the car of a parking lot doing nothing and observe delinquent behavior? At least he vouched for you though.
The cop at my school is usually walking around the school and not sitting in the car.

Tell the administration you aren't going to go to detention untold they can actually prove you did it. The proof of burden is on them not you.
