It's kind of sad most of these comments go from one extreme to another. Either 'does it matter? If you love her and your kid I don't see what the big deal it' and 'get the hell out of there OP. This ruined your life, now you're free'. I didn't read the FML like "I've just thrown away my whole life on a kid that isn't mine" but "The kid I love and have raised for 14 years isn't biologically related to me". Of course, this isn't going to stop you being a father. Some people on FML seem to think that it's easy to just walk away from being a parent. Walking away, as I'm sure you know, would just punish a kid that had no say in the matter. Not saying you would do that, just adressing commenters. Take it from someone who met their bio father when they were 15- biology doesn't have to mean shit. But what your wife did was cruel and disgusting, to both you and your child. She did a horrible thing, let's not pretend otherwise.
I'm not trying tm be mean but did I read it wrong or does this mean if it is yours you were two when they were born?
I smell a divorce.
Did her confession involve telling you to you face or did it involve a priest? If it involved a priest ydi, you don't listen to those. If she had the guts after 14 years to tell you wow, my condolences. At least you're still young.
@215 he was 16 when the kid was born and the kid is now 14. that would make the OP 30 :P
such bullshit. if you just found out your teenage son isn't yours, you wouldn't be posting it on fml.

tell yer wife "life's not a garden, so don't be a hoe" !
Well, if you raised a child for 14 years i would say the blood-relation shouldnt matter.
