I don't think that is legal; couldn't that mess with people's overall GPA and stuff? Why is everyone assuming op is stupid?! Maybe they was having a hard time in the class & tried their best. I know everyone had a class at some point in their life that they struggled in and did everything they could do to get a good grade.
If you do VCE, in Vic Aus, that's how it always is. Deal with it.

This makes no sense. Wouldn't the professor be rewarded if majority of his class scored high marks, instead of having to scale it down?
