Today, the tree that my neighbors have neglected to cut down fell on my car. They claim that by law, they aren't responsible and don't have to pay for it. FML

Shouldn't have put your car under that tree if you knew it was dangerous... Should have cut down that tree yourself if it bothered you... My point is - stop bitching, I bet you insurance covers it

If the tree was on their property, & fell onto yours, you can file suit. In the future, if a tree or a branch from one of their trees is hanging over your property, cut it down. Legally, you can
