Hey at least she wasnt with her "brother"
Atleast it wasn't twilight
Amen to that
Mmm, testify!
You were trying to be romantic by telling her to go get you a movie? No one feels bad for you, you don't deserve any girl like that. Poor you get off your ass and take her to a movie!
YEAH! Forget that they both may be on a budget! Or that they might want to get frisky in the middle of the movie, and have enough morals not to do it at a movie theatre! (sarcasm) Letting her take the wheel every once in a while is romantic, at least in my opinion.
not to be a dick, 34, but in your profile it says, and I quote "I most certainly am not sarcastic." Yet you use sarcasm, and well, in your comment... just pointing that out. And by the way, I do agree with you! There is nothing wrong to having the girl take some responsibilities when it comes to romance. But the guy is kinda a baby for letting her pick out a movie, then complain about it!
Umm . . . 34 was probably being sarcastic in that quote . . . just saying But also agreed, if ur gonna let ur girl pick out the movie, be prepared to watch it, no matter how crappy it is
I happen to like Nicolas Cage, And you did say she could pick it out, she may have even got it because she thought you might like it as opposed to some chick-flick. I mean, she coulda made you watch uptown girls or something.
Every guy I asked, liked "The Notebook" and weren't ashamed to admit it. I guess it reminds them of first loves and the girl that got away.....
So true
So true
Yeah I'm wondering if he actually said "Let's have a romantic night in - takeaway, movie and a little wine..." If you just say to her "Lets watch a movie" then she probably picked out something that both of you had not seen and could agree on. Renting a movie in my household is difficult as we have both watched so many films. That said, if my man said "Baby lets rent something romantic" it would be hard for me to find something that wasn't chick flick cheesy or full of moony vampires...So I would probably go for the crappy action so we wouldn't have to "pay attention to the movie".
24 I agree. Whether you like Nicholas Cage or not, grow the **** up. If you think dealing with watching a bad movie is FML worthy then you should give up on the relationship immediately.
At least you seem to have a decent taste in movies, show her what a real movie is and watch Warrior.
What about Watchmen? 2 hours of **** on a huge screen tv.
Everyone loves ****.
2 hours long? With a walking blue *****, lol.
Yay! Bahahah.
Open minded, I see... Good for you! You will get far in life.
Well did you at least get some sex after?
Your name amuses me greatly OP. I would also like to add, that sucked and don't let your girlfriend pick a movie that's how I "had" to watch "The Help". Ugh.
Wtf? What's wrong with the movie? I'm highly interested. Just because there was no action in it?
41, I'm guessing you're too immature to appreciate any movie without tons of violence and sex. The Help is a good movie based on a great book.
Umm no. It was depressing. It was an intersting story but i didn't like the movie. It just didn't fit me you bitch.
Let's not throw out pointless insults and agree everyone has a different opinion on what kind of movie is good or not, I didn't like the help either, I thought it was kind of boring, and dragged on to long, that doesn't make me immature, it just means I have a different view on the movie.
The reason I chose that particular insult was because they automatically assumed I didn't like it because there was no action or I was to young to enjoy a movie without violence or sex. Sounds like a bitch to me.
Gender has nothing to do with it; I didn't bother to check if they were a boy or a girl. It just seems immature to dislike a movie of social and cultural significance just because there wasn't a lot of action in it.
So just because someone doesn't like ONE movie makes them immature? I'm just trying to say not everyone has to like the movie, I thought it was boring, yes it held some cultural significance true, but doesn't mean I have to like it. Maturity, and whether or not it has action in it has nothing to do with it.
How is it boring, though? Every scene had an event in it. I thought it was too short haha.
